Ingredients

1-1/8 c. milk
2 Tbsp. oil
1 c. rolled oats
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Combine milk and oats.
Let stand at least 5 minutes.
Add oil and eggs, mixing well.
Stir in dry ingredients until moistened.
Bake on hot, lightly oiled griddle.
Makes 10 to 12 cakes.
