Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pt. strawberries
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 frozen pie shell
1 container Cool Whip or fresh whipped cream
Preparation

Hull the berries.
Mash one pint and leave the other pint whole.
If some of the berries are too large, cut them in half. Bake pie shell according to directions on the back.
To mashed berries, add 3 tablespoons cornstarch and boil the mixture about 5 to 10 minutes until thick and clear.
Keep stirring.
Line baked shell with the whole berries.
Pour hot mixture over shell and berries.
Chill 1 to 2 hours and spread whipped cream over pie. Leave out one berry for the top as decoration.
