Mincemeat For Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. ground beef
    6 c. brown sugar
    1 qt. sour cherries
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 qt. cooked apples
    1 pt. wine
Preparation
    Cook meat until soft.
    Add sugar, wine, spices and apples and cook about 2 hours.
    Then add the cherries.
    Bring to full boil. Can be frozen or canned.
