Hot Milk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat eggs until fluffy and light.
    Add sugar, then vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; beat into batter.
    Scald milk and margarine together.
    Blend this into the cake mixture.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch or Bundt pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Cool.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar, or serve with strawberries or other fresh fruit.
    This is like a pound cake.
