Strawberry Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. very fresh, ripe strawberries, cleaned
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 bottle or 4 c. white grape juice, chilled
    dash of salt (optional)
    1 c. light cream or half and half
Preparation
    Combine berries, sugar, water, lemon juice and salt.
    Divide into manageable portions and blend at high speed until liquified. Chill.
    Just at serving time, mix the strawberry puree with the cream and grape juice.
    Serve with a few chopped berries floating in each bowl.
    If a less caloric soup is preferred, substitute yogurt or omit cream altogether.
    Top with Creme Fraiche.
