Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
3 eggs, separated
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin (2 c.)
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Set aside.
In medium bowl, beat egg yolks. Add remainder of ingredients until well blended.
Gently fold in egg whites.
Place pie shell on oven rack and pour in filling. Bake 45 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
