Sausage Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. Payne mild sausage
1-1/2 c. white sugar
1-1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 c. boiling water
1 c. buttermilk
1-1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 c. mixed dried fruit
1/2 c. chopped black walnuts
1 c. flour
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Mix first seven ingredients by hand then add boiling water, buttermilk and soda dissolved in 2 cups flour. Mix well.
