Butter Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box powdered sugar (10 xxx)
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1/4 c. cool tap water (milk)
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine all ingredients; mix together at low speed, then beat at medium speed until very stiff peaks form.
For a lighter icing, add an additional tablespoon of water and beat.
Keep covered with a wet or damp cloth at all times.
