Terri'S Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 slices lean bacon
    2 lb. lean hamburger
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 eggs
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    oregano, salt and pepper
    1 lb. mushrooms
    1 tsp. butter
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. red wine
    white rice, steamed
Preparation
    Fry bacon; reserve fat.
    Mix hamburger, onions, eggs, bread crumbs, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Form into meatballs.
    Fry in bacon fat.
    Saute mushrooms in butter.
    Mix soup and wine.
    Put meatballs in baking dish.
    Pour mushroom mixture over.
    Crumble bacon over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve over steamed rice.
    Serves 6.
