Pat'S Chocolate Pecan Toffee Bar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. canola oil
    1 c. lite brown sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium-sized bowl, cream the oil and sugar and beat well.
    Stir in flour and vanilla.
    Litely spray an 11 x 14-inch baking sheet with vegetable oil.
    Press the dough onto the sheet.
    Bake for 25 minutes, until golden brown.
    Let cool.
    Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler.
    Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the cooled toffee bars and sprinkle with pecans.
    Makes 48 (1-inch) squares.
