Strawberry Cream Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large boxes strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    2 mashed bananas
    1 large can pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Mix jello and boiling water.
    Break strawberries up with a fork and add bananas, pineapple and nuts.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into dish and chill for 1 hour or until slightly firm.
    Stir until smooth the sour cream.
    Spread over chilled mixture, then spoon balance of jello over first layer, then chill.
    Is a very festive dish for holiday dinners.
