Grandy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    20 oz. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. pecan pieces
    1/2 c. brown sugar and granulated sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Use a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix together the 1 1/2 cups sugar, flour, soda, salt, eggs and crushed pineapple.
    Pour into pan.
    Sprinkle nuts and brown sugar over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar, butter, evaporated milk and vanilla in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
    Pour over cake after cooked, yet still hot from the oven.
