Sonya'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    3 c. milk
    1 container Cool Whip
    3/4 c. coconut
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions.
    Cool.
    Mix sugar and pineapple together and cook 20 minutes.
    Poke holes on top of cake and pour pineapple mixture all over cake.
    Let cool completely. Make up pudding by using 3 cups of milk.
    Pour on top of pineapple.
    Spread Cool Whip on top of pudding.
    Let set overnight in the refrigerator.
    Add 3/4 cup of coconut on top of Cool Whip.
