Nine Day Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage
4 ribs celery
2 medium onions, chopped fine
1 green pepper
1/2 red pepper (optional)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
-
Bring to a boil.
Immediately pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture.
Allow to cool and blend thoroughly.
Cover and store in refrigerator.
Stays crisp and fresh for 9 days.
