Pumpkin Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3 eggs
    1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. each: cloves, ginger, allspice, salt and cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Empty cake mix into bowl.
    Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture forms moist even crumbs.
    Reserve 1 cup crumb mix for topping. Add to remaining crumb mixture, 1 egg; stir until blended.
    Spoon into bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Press lightly to form an even layer.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until puffy.
    Set aside.
