Raisin Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran cereal
3 c. sugar
5 c. flour
5 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 c. melted shortening or oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 qt. buttermilk
Preparation

In a very large bowl, mix dry ingredients, add eggs, milk and oil.
Mix well.
(Add nuts, dates or extra raisins if desired.) Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Store extra batter in refrigerator.
Date it and it will be good for six weeks.
Baked muffins also freeze well.
Makes a lot.
