Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. seasoned Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1 c. water
    2 1/2 c. cooked chicken, diced
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 c. green onions tops (optional)
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 can mushroom soup
    cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix and toss stuffing, margarine and water lightly and put half into a buttered 12 x 5-inch casserole.
    Mix chicken, onion, celery, green onion tops, mayonnaise and salt thoroughly and put in casserole over the first layer.
    Top with other half of bread mixture.
