Spiced Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 4 lb. beef
    2 onions
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. hot water
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    5 to 6 whole cloves
    1 tsp. Gravy Master
    carrots
    whole string beans
    potatoes
Preparation
    In large pot, brown meat with Gravy Master.
    Stick the cloves in the meat.
    Slice onions on top of the meat.
    Add water, vinegar and bay leaves.
    Simmer for 3 hours.
    Add water as needed.
    When nearly done, add carrots, whole string beans and potatoes.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
