Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. cider vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 carrot, grated
Preparation
    Mix cabbage and salt together; let stand 1 hour.
    Squeeze out by hand and set aside.
    Boil together the vinegar, sugar, water, celery seed and mustard seed for 1 minute.
    Add onion and carrot to cabbage mixture.
    Pour boiled mixture over and freeze in containers.
