Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers
    1 pod garlic
    1 head dill
    1 qt. water
    3 c. vinegar (5% acidity)
    1/4 c. salt
    hot peppers and onions (optional)
Preparation
    Clean cucumbers.
    Put into a jar (whole or sliced).
    Add garlic, dill and hot peppers and onions (optional).
    Mix in another pan the water, vinegar and salt.
    Bring to boil.
    Pour over pickles; seal jar.
    Process in hot water bath for 5 minutes. Let set 4 or 5 weeks before opening.
