Yankee Bean Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pea beans or navy beans
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. canned whole tomatoes
    1/2 c. diced carrots
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Wash the beans and soak overnight in 1 quart of water.
    Cook all ingredients until tender, then add milk and reheat.
