Edna Lambert'S Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 heaping Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 c. corn meal
    2 heaping tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix shortening, salt, sugar and egg.
    Dump in remaining ingredients.
    Beat 3 to 5 minutes (very important).
    Bake in greased pan or muffin pan 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
