Microwave Heath Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    12 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat butter and sugar 2 minutes on High; stir.
    Cook 8 minutes more to hard crack stage, stirring every 2 minutes.
    Spread over nuts in buttered pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of syrup and let melt.
    Spread over top.
    Chill and break in pieces.
    (I cook mine in 2-quart glass measuring pitcher.)
    Use only real butter, margarine will not work.
