London Broil Teriyaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. apricot jam
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 cloves garlic, peeled
    2 lb. top round (1 1/4 inch thick)
Preparation
    Start grill.
    Make teriyaki sauce:
    In a small saucepan combine the soy sauce, oil, apricot jam, cornstarch, pepper and whole garlic cloves.
    Stir to blend.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stir constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Brush steak with sauce. Grill 4 inches from heat turning once; brush the second side with sauce.
    Grill 5 to 7 minutes per side for rare, 8 to 10 minutes per side for medium-rare, 11 to 13 minutes per side for well-done.
