Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 lb. shortening or lard
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking soda.
    Cut in shortening.
    Mix well.
    Beat egg in measuring cup.
    Add sugar and vinegar.
    Fill cup until 3/4 full of cold water.
    Mix into dry ingredients. Makes 2 to 3 shells.
