Gina'S German Knoepfla Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    1 or 2 eggs
    1 c. water
    3 1/2 c. flour (until dough is stiff)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
    3 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. diced celery
    3/4 c. diced onions
    garlic, cut into small pieces (optional)
    1 c. half and half
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery or chicken soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. celery salt
    more water (if needed)
Preparation
    In 4-quart kettle, boil chicken broth, potatoes, celery, onions and garlic.
    Add cooked knoepfla.
    When vegetables are almost done, add half and half, cream of celery or chicken soup, salt, pepper, celery salt and more water (if needed).
    Makes 3 1/2 quarts.
