Fried Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. whole milk Mozzarella (Double H Brand) cheese
    1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. crackers or toasted bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil
    flour
    peanut oil
    tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut
    cheese
    into 1-inch cubes;
    toss in flour.
    Dip in egg; roll in crumbs seasoned with oregano and basil.
    Refrigerate
    at least
    30 minutes.
    Heat 1-inch peanut oil in heavy skillet
    to 370\u00b0.
    Fry quickly (about 30 seconds). Serve with tomato sauce. Takes about 45 minutes.
