Apple Chip Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
5 apples
1/4 c. currants
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Work butter in mix.
Beat egg; add milk and stir dry ingredients.
Spread dough in a well-buttered biscuit pan.
Spread apples on dough, pressing sharp edges of fruit into mixture.
Sprinkle with currants, sugar and cinnamon which has been mixed.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
