Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 tsp. flour
2 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
3 Tbsp. chopped onion

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Drop by tablespoonfuls into hot grease. (I always add a large spoon of lard to shortening to fry fish.)
