Pickled Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    asparagus*
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    6 to 8 cloves garlic
    1 Tbsp. dill seed
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 1/2 c. white vinegar
    1/8 c. salt
Preparation
    *Takes 1 pound of asparagus for 1 quart.
