Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. soft shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and 1/2 cup sugar together.
    Add the eggs (well beaten). Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture. When well blended, chill and shape into walnut size balls. Roll in 2 tablespoons cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar mixture.
    Place 2-inches apart on cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes at 400\u00b0.
