Refrigerated Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced, peeled cucumbers
    1 c. sliced onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onion and salt in a bowl; cover with water and leave overnight.
    Drain off water - do not rinse. Dissolve sugar in vinegar; add celery seed and pour over cucumbers. Keeps a long time in a large jar, or plastic container, covered, in refrigerator.
