Italian Cream Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. soda
    1 stick margarine
    5 egg yolks
    5 egg whites, beaten stiffly
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 small can coconut
Preparation
    Cream margarine and Crisco.
    Add sugar.
    Beat until smooth. Add egg yolks and beat well.
    Combine flour and soda and add alternately with buttermilk.
    Stir in vanilla, coconut and nuts. Fold in egg whites that have been beaten until stiff.
    Grease and flour 3 cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
