Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    About 4 hours before serving or the day ahead:
    Into a large bowl, measure flour, margarine, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, eggs and 1 1/4 cups sugar.
    With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula.
    Shape dough into a ball.
    Wrap with plastic wrap.
    Refrigerate dough 2 hours or until easy to handle.
