Herbed Garlic Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. potatoes
1/4 c. butter
1 small onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, slivered
3/4 c. milk
2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In large pot, boil potatoes.
Drain.
In same pot, melt 2 tablespoons butter.
Add onion and garlic.
Cook until golden, stirring frequently.
Remove pot from heat and add potatoes, remaining 2 tablespoons butter, milk, basil, salt and pepper. Using an electric beater or potato masher, beat mixture until smooth.
