Cream Cheese Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    4 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    16 pecan halves
Preparation
    Place chocolate in top of double boiler. Bring water to a boil.
    Reduce heat to low. Cook until chocolate melts.
    Combine the cream cheese and sugar. Beat until smooth. Add chocolate and vanilla, beating well.
    Stir in chopped pecans. Press mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan.
    Chill until firm and cut into squares.
    Top each square with a pecan half. Store in refrigerator.
    Yields 16 squares.
