Asparagus And Chicken Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for one crust pie
    1 c. cooked chicken, cut up
    1 c. steamed asparagus pieces
    1/4 finely chopped onion
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. whipping cream
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Prepare pastry. Sprinkle chicken, asparagus, onion and cheese (in that order) in pastry lined pie plate. Beat eggs slightly. Beat in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into pie plate. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325\u00b0.
    Bake until knife inserted comes out clean, about 30 minutes longer.
    Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serves 6.
