Boston Cream Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. canned milk or 1/2 pt. whipping cream
    2/3 c. white Karo syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, coarse chopped
Preparation
    Cook sugar, cream and syrup to 234\u00b0 (soft ball).
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Beat until thick.
    Add pecans. Pour into buttered dish or drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
