Apple Brownie Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. chopped raw apples
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over apples and set aside.
Cream 1 cup sugar and Crisco.
Add egg; cream well.
Add dry ingredients.
Mix until it forms coarse crumbs; add apples, raisins and nuts.
Mix well, pour in floured pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
