Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon
    1 1/4 chopped green pepper
    1 1/4 c. ketchup
    10 Tbsp. brown sugar
    10 Tbsp. onions (1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp.)
    1 (No. 10) can pork and beans
    10 Tbsp. molasses (no maple flavor)
    10 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Saute onions and green pepper
    in drippings. Combine sauteed vegetables, beans, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar and drippings in a greased baking dish.
    Mix well.
    Top with bacon strips.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for about 1 to 2 hours.
    Serves 25 (1/2-cup) servings.
