Mom'S Vinegar Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    3 egg yolks
    meringue (for 9-inch pie shell)
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine in a saucepan:
    apple cider vinegar, flour, water, salt and lemon extract.
    Beat egg yolks and blend with ingredients in saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly while mixture thickens and boils.
    Boil and stir for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat and pour into a baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue and brown in oven.
