Joan'S Easy Potato Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients

several baking potatoes, washed and sliced
1 stick butter, melted
1 pkg. instant onion soup mix

Preparation

Layer sliced potatoes in a greased 9 x 12-inch or other appropriate baking dish (preferably not metal).
Place enough potatoes in dish to fill to top.
Sprinkle instant onion soup mix over top of potatoes.
Drizzle butter over top and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
