Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 lb. sirloin steak, cut in strips
    2 medium green peppers, cut in strips
    1 medium onion, cut in wedges
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 can consomme
    oil
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and 1/2 cup water and set aside.
    Stir-fry beef in 1 tablespoon hot oil; remove.
    Add 1 more tablespoon oil; saute pepper and onion with garlic.
    Add consomme and cornstarch mixture.
    Cook until mixture boils and thickens.
    Stir constantly. Add beef and heat.
    Serve over rice.
