Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter
    2 lb. round steak
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can (10 1/2 oz.) bouillon or consomme, diluted to make 2 c.
    1 c. commercial sour cream
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms and onions in 2 tablespoons butter and remove from pan.
    Remove fat and bone from steak.
    Cut into strips 2 1/2 inches long and 3/4-inch wide.
    Melt 2 tablespoons butter in pan. Toss meat in flour, coating thoroughly.
    Brown meat in butter and add salt and bouillon water mixture.
    Simmer, stirring occasionally until meat is tender, about 1 1/4 hours.
    Add mushrooms, onions and sour cream.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
