Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 beaten egg yolks
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and cook until thick.
    Cool.
    Pour over 4 to 6 chopped apples, 1/4 pound cheese, 2 cups chunk pineapple and nuts.
    Dressing should not be real thick.
