Date And Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9 oz. self-rising flour
6 oz. margarine
3 oz. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. milk
4 oz. sugar
6 oz. chopped dates
1/2 tsp. mixed spice
Preparation

Rub fat into flour.
Add rest of the ingredients and mix with the milk.
Bake in an 8-inch cake tin at 325\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours.
