Shrimp Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 bunch chopped green onions
    3/4 c. tomato paste
    4 bouillon cubes
    1 chopped bell pepper
    1 chopped red (hot) pepper
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf
    salt and garlic to taste
    1 1/2 lb. peeled shrimp
Preparation
    Saute
    onions
    in
    hot bacon drippings 10 minutes.
    Add tomato paste, 5 cups water, pepper, thyme, bay leaf and salt. Bring
    to boil and add shrimp.
    Cook 15 minutes.
    Cover kettle or
    pot
    and cook over low fire about 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve over steamed rice. Sprinkle lightly with gumbo file.
