Pie Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can red pitted cherries
    1 c. sugar
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    1 envelope Knox gelatine
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    rind of 1 lemon, grated
    rind of 1 orange, grated
    pinch of salt
    1 c. broken pecan halves
Preparation
    Dissolve juice of cherries, sugar and jello.
    When it comes to a boil, remove from heat.
    Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup water and add to hot mixture.
    Add pineapple and juice, orange and lemon rind, salt, nuts and cherries.
    Mold.
    Serves 10.
