Sweet Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. liquid shortening
    1 1/2 c. flour (unsifted)
    5/8 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. fresh, canned or frozen blueberries, drained
Preparation
    Beat egg in bowl and stir in milk and shortening.
    Combine dry ingredients and quickly mix with the liquid mixture until the flour is moistened.
    Do not overmix; the batter will be lumpy. Fold in blueberries.
    Line muffin tins with paper liners and fill each 2/3 full.
    Bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
    Remove from oven and immediately remove from pans to cool.
