Layered Green Salad(Make At Least 8 Hours Ahead) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce, shredded fine
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, finely chopped
    1 can water chestnuts, drained and sliced thin
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    2 c. mayonnaise, spread on top
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In long Pyrex dish, layer the first 6 ingredients in order given.
    Mix sugar, salt and pepper and sprinkle over mayonnaise. Last, sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over mayonnaise and top with Parmesan cheese.
